Hitchhiker caught by Justintime
Posted on February 13th, 2005 by

The hiker was in the hands of Justintime, who was kind enough to send me a picture!. Apparently, dotSphinx is in great condition and is on his way west. He dropped him in Big T' Travelers Inn (Version 2.0) cache to begin his journey westerly in the direction of the big state of CA.

Taytuh the Mastiff meets dotSphinx
Posted on December 20th, 2004 by

Finally I received a really nice picture of dotSphinx. Thanks, Baruba Juba! The little pupplet has arrived in Kentucky. Unfortunately, it somehow lost its backpack and also the card is no longer directly attached. Let's hope the card and the hiker will not get separated.

Saint Nicholas
Posted on December 5th, 2004 by

My site was taken off-line due to the enormous amounts of traffic flooding in because of Saint Nicholas. It was taken offline December 2nd. I cannot really blame my provider ( IPowerWeb ), in fact, I am quite pleased that the site could withstand all the traffic with their simple virtual server service. Some statistics:

  • Google AdSense counted 305895 page impressions on December 1st.
  • NedStat reported the following statistics:

GTK-Wimp integrated into GTK+
Posted on August 31st, 2004 by

GTK-Wimp has been integrated into GTK+. As part of the integration, it has been renamed to "MS-Windows Engine". If the need arises, it is still possible to release a GTK-Wimp version separately from GTK+. However, the goal is to play nice with the GTK+ release cycle. Details:
